Summer Vacation Day 25

It's Father's Day!! This morning at breakfast we all gave Preston his gifts. Nathan and Owen gave him socks, something he desperately needed and I gave him Session 2 of Everwood. Logan gave Preston the best gift of all and he came up with the idea all on his own. He got an envelope, filled it with kisses and wrote "Kisses from Logan". Preston is to take his envelope to work and when he needs a kiss from Logan he just opens the envelope and one will fly out.

We had a great morning at Dawson. It is such a perfect provision that God has provided us such a place to worship that is solely focused on Him.

This afternoon while Logan and I ran lots of errands, Nathan and Owen napped and Preston fixed the lawn mover. For only $16 in parts Preston was able to take apart the lawn mover, replace a few things and get it back running! So proud of his handy work.

Tonight we brought dinner over to DiDi and Big House. They bring Sunday lunch here a lot so we decided to provide the meal this time. I made a new Shrimp Florentine recipe I say in Cooking Light. It was delicious. After dinner we went to Yogurt Mountain where Dad's got their first 10 oz free. We had such a wonderful time with them.
