Lots to update

Things have been going very well and the five of us absolutely love being together. Logan is a wonderful big brother and does not seem to be jealous at all. If either Nathan or Owen are crying he will walk up to them and hold their hand or pat their head and tell them not to cry because he is here. It is so precious. The boys are in the midst of all their follow-up appointments.

Owen went to the retinal specialist last week and his eyes are looking better. He has a follow-up appointment in 3 weeks. He still has a ways to go before his eyes are in really good shape, but they are getting better. He also went and saw a plastic surgeon last week about his palette. The NICU doctors were not sure if he had cleft palette or a big indention in his palette due to the ventilator. His indention is due to the ventilator and will just fill in over time. He will have no speech problems from his indention.

Yesterday Nathan went to the regular pediatric eye doctor and his eyes were looking better. His left eye looks perfect and his right eye is moving in the right direction. Today he also had an appointment with OT at Children's. He will go back next week and get a splint he will need to wear several hours out of the day for his wrist on his right arm. The boys are also being referred to home OT, so we will have someone come to our house once every other week instead of having to take them to the OT office.

Here are a few pictures I thought you would enjoy.

Logan comforting / talking to Nathan.
Owen looking cute.
Nathan playing on the floor gym.
Preston and his Mom making biscuits and gravy (Preston's all time favorite)
Owen supervising the cooking.
