End of the school year picnic

Today Logan's class celebrated the end of the school year at Oak Mountain State Park. The first hour we spent at the petting zoo with goats, horses, roosters and donkeys. After the zoo the kids had a picnic lunch and then all played together on the playground for a while. Nathan, Owen and I had the privilege of joining Logan for the petting zoo and Picnic before running off to The Bell Center.

Preston's birthday!!

May 9th Preston turned 35. The evening before he had an alumni band rehearsal so Logan, Nathan, Owen and I went up to his office and did a little decorating. We had 35 balloons, 15 large swirl confetti ceiling hangers, 4 birthday banners (1 a large picture of the boys holding a birthday sign), pictures of them and a special sign from Logan. We had a fun time showing Preston how much we love and appreciate him. He is such a blessing in our life.

Three Billy Goats Gruff

Today Logan, Gracie and James had a great time playing the Three Billy Goats Gruff in the little creek at the park. They also had the best time running up and down the creek. Owen loved watching them run and I told him some time we would bring his gait trainer and let him run too (in that area the creek's bottom in concrete.) The little boys also enjoyed a lot of time swinging at the park. We are looking forward to many more park adventure this summer with the Cook Family.

Pool fun

Today we went to the indoor pool. The kids all had a lot of fun and it was good to get out of the sun.

Day 2 in Paradise

We are having the best time!!! The entire family went to the beach this morning. We rented a Cabana to have a place to get the tiny boys a place out of the sun. They ALL loved the ocean. During naps Logan, Raegan, Lily Kate, Misty and I all headed to the pool. Once the little guys woke up, I came back and got Owen and he went swimming for about 45 minutes. Logan and Lily Kate lasted in the pool 3 1/2 hours. Nathan was not feeling well after his nap so he and Preston stayed home.

Rosemary Beach

Thursday afternoon the boys and I along with my friend, Misty and her girls, all piled in the van and headed to Rosemary Beach. Preston will meet us tonight. He headed down after work. We had a wonderful first day here. Nathan and Owen tried out their new bikes. Logan loved playing in the pool and ocean. Owen liked to ocean too. Nathan has caught a cold, so I kept him out of the water. Logan is having the best time playing with Misty's girls. We have had a perfect first day to our vacation.

Chattanooga Trip

Yesterday the three boys and I, along with my Mom, headed to Chattanooga to spend the day with my cousin Brenda, Tammer and their little guy Stavros. They are currently living in Brazil and are on a little vacation back to the states. We met and took the kids to the aquarium, a wonderful lunch at Peppers Deli and then to the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The visit was so fun and I am so glad we were able to see them while they are here.
