Who knew leaves could be so fun
With the changing of the weather our tree in the front yard is hard at work dropping tons and tons of leaves. Preston and Logan worked hard raking them all up while all three boys were having fun too.

Family Fall Festival
Last night was the Family Fall Festival at Dawson. It is always such a fun time. All the boys had a great time. Nathan and Owen rode down the giant inflatable slide with Preston. Logan and I rode in some spinning cars together. Logan also did rock climbing and many different inflatables. Finn McMissile, the scarecrow and the chick all seemed to have a great time.
Animal birthday party
Yesterday Logan went to his friend Walter's animal birthday party. There was a demonstration of 8 exotic pets from Ed's Pet World. Logan liked everything but the snakes.
Teacher's Birthday Party
Yesterday after service project we celebrated Logan's teacher's birthday with a giant cookie cake. All the kids loved eating, singing and wearing their birthday hats.

One of Logan's Favorite Days Part 1
Today was a very exciting day for a certain six year old. This morning his class went on their fall service project to Lakeview Nursing Home. They recited Psalm 1 and a poem entitled Autumn. They also sang a few songs including Lord I Lift Your Name on High and Father I Adore You. The residents loved seeing their performance. Each child painted a watercolor fall picture to give to the residents. They also traced each others hands so the adults could have a reminder of the children and children have a reminder of the adults. Both the children and adults seemed to bond well and genuinely enjoy their time together.

Trick or Treat at Preston's Office
Finn McMissile, a scarecrow (who slept most of the time) and a chicken hatching went to Preston's office's annual trick or treat party. It was fun seeing lots of kids dressed up in their costumes. Logan loved getting tons of candy and of course seeing Daddy. It was a fun afternoon event.

Old Baker Farm
Today I had the opportunity to accompany Logan on his first Westminster field trip. All the kindergarten classes went to Old Baker Farm. They enjoyed picking cotton, petting and learning about lots of animals, going through the hay maze, jumping off the giant hay mountain , eating lunch in the loft of the barn, riding the hay ride and picking pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. It was a full day and a really enjoyable and exciting one. I also really loved getting to know a lot of the moms even better.
